Week of blog posts starts… now!

Day 1: Monday

This is the week of blog posts.  I haven’t been able to keep up with them as much I should have but I’m going to turn that around for this week.  I want this weeks posts to be a record of my race to the deadline for project 2.  For project 2 for Web Design I created a unique piece of fiction and I am going to illustrate it in a graphic novel/web comic style and post the first chapter online.  I have already created the div structure and layout for all the pages and have filled it with just color to show the div cells.  Tomorrow I’ll post the rough pencil sketches for the comic.

So what are wireframes again, they aren’t just for glasses anymore.

So for project two we are assigned to create a logical and cohesive design that can display at least 5 pages of text.  There are a few ways to do this but the route I chose was to write an orignal piece of fiction and then illustrate it.  This is an approved technigue and I am excited for this project.  I wanted the illustrations to be overlayed on to a background of a sketchbook(my photo) and then to turn the page you progress though the story.  I already have an idea on how to code this bad boy<hint it is with divs lol>.  I’ll post more of the design processes as they occur.

So Monday is Tuesday at Oswego? meh ok?

So this week due to the Rosh Hashanah, we here is Oswego are changing the school schedule so Monday schedule is on Tuesday. So in effect we get double Monday/Wednesday classes. This was so strange. Project 1 is due for Devin’s class Monday the 5th. I finished up with it early and am working on other stuff while being very quiet so no one notices me. lol. Other than that stuff nothing much is going on the school front.

So slow week, c-ya all next week.

So begins another week, you hear that internet! Another week!

Hello everyone and welcome to my temporary blog.

Not much to say really at this moment.  We are going to begin CSS today in Devin’s class and I am looking forward to that.  I am almost finished with my exercises and the first project.  I was really motivated Sunday. I may post after class about what we covered today but we will see. I’ll just finish up with some links to websites I view at least once a day for design tutorials and inspiration.

Hi everyone, My name is Randy Belcher.  My real blog page is broken and I wanted to submit something by the deadline.
